It is with great sadness that we have to let you know that one of our Hamilton Irish Arts Members and a faithful Tuesday Night Session regular, Michael Cregan, passed away suddenly on November 15th, 2020.
He had recently moved to Nova Scotia, but was a familiar and friendly face at ‘the round table’ up until Covid caused us to halt all events back in mid-March. A quiet, gentle and kind man, respected by many for his love of a good story and some yarns/jokes over a pint, whether it was at the Corktown or in Florida with his Irish friends there and more recently on a zoom call, or by email just to make you chuckle.
Our sincerest condolences go out to Martin, Marlene and all the Cregan family on the loss of their father and our friend. We will miss you – RIP Mícheál.
