Irish Traditional Solo Dance for Adults – Level Two – Online

New series of online classes for adults – in Irish Traditional Solo Dance

Each Monday beginning 6 February for 5 weeks –  can start in second week

Level 2 – for those with some experience, this could be 2 or 3 terms of Annette’s beginner class, or other percussive dance forms.

Annette will teach a set dance (in jig time) called “Jockey to the Fair”, this is part of the Dan Furey repertoire and was brought to the group by Margaret Wray of Derry. Margaret learned the dance from Frankie Roddy, also of Derry.

Part of the beauty of this living tradition is that the steps continue to be passed on from one generation to the next.
