Greetings, Irish Language enthusiasts ! Dia dhuit!
It is time for our Irish Language Lesson! Come enjoy and discover the beauty of the Irish Language through dialogue, poetry and music. Beginners and those with some experience are all welcome!
Lessons are usually held on the 3rd MONDAY of each month (unless there is a holiday) October will be 21st. The teacher will be Róisín Dunsby. She likes to teach the Language through a cultural approach.
There will be a $10 fee for the evening’s lesson, even to HIA members. This will assist with funding the facilitation of these lessons. We are grateful to the Irish Canadian Club for the use of their facility. HIA Chairperson, Sheila Corr, will be there at 6:30pm to welcome everyone and make the tea! There is no need to pre-register. If you haven’t attended a session yet, no fear! Come as you are and let’s learn about this wonderful aspect of our shared heritage together!
