Conradh na Gaeilge
I am delighted to inform you that we are in the process of establishing a branch of Conradh na Gaeilge here in Toronto, which would be the first active Canadian branch in several years. Conradh na Gaeilge is the oldest and largest Irish language cultural organization in the world. This branch will bring the Irish speaking community together, organize a range of exciting events both in person and online, and strive to promote the Irish language. Following the success of our in-person Tae & Plé event in January, this new branch of Conradh na Gaeilge will be hosting an online ‘ciorcal comhrá’ on Thursday February 23 from 6.30-7.30pm EST. It will be a purely social event where attendees will get the chance to speak to a range of other Irish speakers in small groups. All levels are welcome.
