On behalf of Hamilton Irish Arts members and friends across the world, I’d like to send sincerest condolences, love and support to Juliana and the Cooke family on the loss of the Legendary Denis Cooke. June 26, 1928 – July 31, 2020
Our only ‘honorary’ CCÉ member, he was an avid supporter of HIA and loved that we were keeping the traditions alive! He wasn’t shy to sit and wile away sharing a pint and a laugh and always proud of his stories of home and his father/family and life in the hard times of Dublin in the ‘ol days. He so enjoyed the ‘craic’ at his friends table at our weekly session at the Corktown Pub, and sadly wasn’t able to make it the past year or two. He was honoured to receive a copy of the Corktown Cats CD this past Christmas though!
